Harlan County Man Facing Charges

June 12, 2017

A Harlan County man now faces charges after he fired a pellet gun at a teenaged girl, hitting her in the back. Cumberland Police say the 14-year old girl and a friend were riding past the home of Billy Shipman last Wednesday evening when he fired a pellet gun, hitting the girl in the back. WYMT reported that doctors decided not to remove the pellet due to the risk of paralysis that could result from the procedure.
