Saturday night,  the Letcher County Central Cougar boys lost to Perry County Central on the road 71-55.  The 16-8 Cougars will play a district game at Cordia Tuesday and play at Leslie County on Thursday.  The next home game for the LCC boys will be Saturday against Union VA.

The Jenkins Cavalier boys picked up a win Friday night at home beating Rose Hill Christian 70-51.  The Cavaliers will play June Buchanan at home tonight, Allen Central at home Wednesday and at Shelby Valley on Friday.

The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars beat Hazard Thursday 58-51 on senior night, but lost a district game Saturday at Knott County Central 60-40.  The Lady Cougars are 15-10 and will host the 22-2 Harlan County Lady Black Bears tonight at LCC.  We'll bring you the game live here on the Bulldog.  Pre-game begins at 7 with tipoff at 7:30.

The LCC girls will play at Cordia Tuesday night and Shelby Valley at home on Saturday. 

The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers beat Cordia in both game of a double header on Friday and then lost to Wolfe County on the road Saturday 55-47.  The Jenkins girls will play at Shelby Valley on Wednesday, Pikeville at home Friday and home against Betsy Layne on Saturday.

De’Aaron Fox scored 19 points, but #8 Kentucky fell to No. 24 Florida 88-66 on Saturday night in Gainsville. 

Malik Monk was the only other Wildcat in double figures, scoring 11 points in the game. Bam Adebayo had nine points and a team-high seven rebounds for Kentucky.

Kentucky is now 18-5 overall and 8-2 in the SEC).  They have lost 3 of their last 4 games. 

Kentucky returns to action on Tuesday night when the Wildcats return to Rupp Arena to host LSU. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. with pre-game at 5:30 here on the Bulldog.
