In girls high school basketball last night:

Johnson Central beat Allen Central 88-39
Leslie County over Jackson City 71-38
Owsley County got by Buckhorn 60-48
and Shelby Valley beat Jenkins 61-29

Up next for the Jenkins Lady Cavaliers is a home game against Pikeville on Friday and a home game against Betsy Layne on Saturday. 

The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars will next take on Shelby Valley at home Saturday afternoon.  JV at 2.  Varsity at 3:30.

MIddlesboro over Thomas Walker VA 88-81 in overtime
and Scott County beat Cordia 73-38

The Letcher County Central Cougar boys will be playing at Leslie County tonight.  The next home game for the LCC boys will be Saturday against Union VA and it will be senior night for the Cougars.  We'll bring you the Saturday game here on the Bulldog with tipoff at 7:30 and pre-game at 7.

The #15 UK Wildcats are 19-5 overall and 9-2 in the SEC.    Up next for the Cats is an SEC road game at Alabama this Saturday.  The Crimson Tide are 14-9 overall and 7-4 in the SEC.  Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. with pre-game at 11:30 Saturday morning here on the Bulldog.
