Kentucky Bat Cats Lose to Texas A & M in CWS

The Kentucky baseball bat cats left their bats at home last night and lost the Texas A & M Aggies 5-1 in the College World Series.

The Aggies pitched a great game and had a no hitter going into the 7th.

Kentucky’s offense could not get going at all gathering only 4 hits and one run in the game.

The one run was a solo homerun in the 9th by Ryan Nicholson.

Texas A&M had 14 hits and scored all 5 of their runs in the 6th inning.

The Kentucky Wildcats are now 1-1 in the double elimination CWS and with the loss, they slide into the losers bracket where they will face SEC foe Florida in an elimination game tonight.

Game time for Florida and Kentucky in the College World Series tonight begins at 7:00pm eastern in Omaha.

The game will air on ESPN.

Kentucky must win to keep playing.  A loss ends the season.
