The Kentucky women’s basketball team won both games they played at the Music City Classic in Nashville.
They beat Arizona State 77-61 on Tuesday night, and they beat #20 Illinois 76-53. The UK women and fighting Illini were tied at 28 all but Kentucky went on an 18-0 run in the 4th quarter for a 23-point win.
Clara Strack led Kentucky with 25 points and 15 rebounds. Dazia Lawrence had 15, Teonni Key with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Amanda Hassett had 10.
The still unbeaten 7-0 and #14 UK Ladies will next play at #16 North Carolina in the SEC/ACC Challenge Thursday of next week, Dec 5th at 5:00pm.
