Alyssa Nicely went 3 for 4 as the Letcher County Central Lady Cougars softball won at Shelby valley 9-1 on Monday.
Scarlett Stamper earned the win for the Lady Cougars. The lefty allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.
Letcher County Central piled up 13 hits in the game.
Sarah Richardson, Kelsey Bentley, and Scarlett Stamper each had multiple hits in the game and Kara Holcomb had 3 RBI.
LCC Lady Cougar softball has now won 11 games in a row to improve to 21-9.
They will next play at Lawrence County Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm to wrap up the regular season.
The 11-8 Jenkins Lady Cavaliers softball team will next play tonight at Cordia in a district doubleheader with the first game at 6:00pm.
The Lady Cavaliers will wrap up the season with a home game against Buckhorn on Wednesday.
