The Rotary Club of Whitesburg is now accepting applications for a Rotary scholarship through Friday, April 11, 2025.
The scholarship, in the amount of $500, is available to a college bound high school senior or current college student who resides in Letcher County and is working on his/her first degree.
More than one scholarship may be awarded.
The winner(s) will be notified in May 2025, and the scholarship(s) will be presented during a July or August 2025 meeting of the Rotary Club of Whitesburg.
Applications are available at Jenkins Middle High School and Letcher County Central High School guidance offices, and available at the business office or admissions office of the Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College at both the Whitesburg and Cumberland locations.
