A trial date has been set for a Floyd County man charged with murder in connection with the death of Amber Spradlin of Prestonsburg in 2023.
Special Judge Eddy Coleman has set December 1 as the start of the trial for MK McKinney who prosecutors allege stabbed Spradlin to death at the home of his father, Michael McKinney who, along with family friend Josh Mullins, is charged with tampering with evidence.
The judge also granted a change of venue so the case will be tried in Pike Circuit Court.
