The recent arrest of a man on drug charges in Perry County is the result of a long-term investigation by the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
As we reported earlier this week, Chester Couch of Bonnyman was arrested last week with investigators alleging they found more than 100 firearms and 2200 pills at his home off Typo Rd.
WYMT reports the investigation into him began in 2024 with the LCSO’s Narcotics department.
A Laurel County Sheriff’s Office spokesman says they recovered meth, oxycodone, suboxone, and more and they think the bust will make a big impact in area drug trafficking.
Couch is reportedly out on bond and is set to be arraigned on July 1.
