The driver of a car that smashed through the front of a Hazard business early Tuesday
morning was apparently trying to do doughnuts in the parking lot.
Hazard Police responded just after midnight to the Daniel Boone Plaza parking lot where the vehicle crashed through the Shoe Show Mega Store.
The driver ran off but WYMT reports he was identified using video surveillance footage and turned himself in a few hours later.
No one was hurt.
Police did not give out the suspect’s name.
