Hazel Bowling, age 78 of Jeremiah, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Whitesburg ARH.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Margaret Ann Venkateswaran of White Plains, New York; 1 son: Mark Anthony Bowling of Jeremiah; 2 brothers: James Bowling of Jeremiah and Darrel Brown of Indiana and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Hazel Bowling will be held at 11:00am Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church at Blackey with Allen Fugate, Ray Slone, Danny Dixon and Elwood Cornett officiating.
Visitation will from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church at Blackey.
Burial will follow in the Pearl Dixon Cemetery at Blackey.
The Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Brenda Sharon Banks, age 82, of Whitesburg, passed away on Saturday June 21, 2025 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home.
She is survived by 2 sons: Charles McCray Jr. of Texas and Joe McCray of Jeremiah; One brother: Otis Randall Craft of Whitesburg; 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm, today, Wednesday, June 25, 202 at the Everidge Funeral Home chapel in Whitesburg.
Funeral Services for Brenda Sharon Banks will follow at 1:00 this afternoon, Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Everidge Funeral Home with Caleb Combs and Jensen Riddle officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
