Additional Charges Filed Against Hazard Man Wanted for Arson

A Hazard man that the Perry County Sheriff’s Office wanted in connection with an arson has reportedly been arrested for burglary.

Investigators allege that on June 5 James Woolum set a fire at an apartment where he was staying.

The Hazard Herald reports that on June 19, deputies and KSP Troopers arrested Woolum at a home on Georges Branch Road where they say he and a woman had gone in without permission.
