Letcher County Central High School has hired Chris Amburgey as the new head coach
of the Cougar baseball program.
Amburgey is a 1991 graduate of Knott County Central High School and a former collegiate athlete who played baseball at Lindsey Wilson College.
He has over three decades of coaching experience including five years as head coach at Knott County Central.
He also dedicated 12 seasons to volunteering with the Knott County Little League program.
