Billy Joe Sturgill, age 51, of Mayking, passed away on Thursday July 31, 2025 at his residence.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Morgan Nichole Sturgill and Meghan Paige Jensen both of Whitesburg; 2 sons: Billy Joe Sturgill II of Campton and Michael Joseph Sturgill of Sandlick; 2 sisters: Michelle Sturgill and Danielle Sturgill both of Whitesburg and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Friday August 1, 2025 at the New Freedom Worship Center at Dunham.
Funeral services for Billy Joe Sturgill will be held at 1:00pm Saturday August 2, 2025 at the New Freedom Worship Center at Dunham with Danny Quillen officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
