Sue Flanary Banks, age 83, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Mary Lynne Banks Richardson of Whitesburg and Amanda Banks Galer of Coos Bay, Oregon; 5 grandchildren: Ashley Holland, Nicole Minix, Haley Sizemore, Caidance King and Kyle Galer; 5 great-grandchildren and one brother: Kyle Flanary of Georgia.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm-8:00pm this evening Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesburg.
Funeral services for Sue Flanary Banks will be held on at 1:00pm Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Letcher Funeral Home with Bill Craft and Johnny Banks officiating.
Burial will follow at the John R. Banks Cemetery on Little Cowan.

Glenn Logan, age 68, of Kingscreek, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the Hazard ARH.
He is survived by 1 daughter: Glenda Polly of Hallie; 6 grandchildren: Jade Dollarhide, Ethan Dollarhide, Faith Thomas, Jadin Polly, Jazlyn Polly, and Shawney Polly; 3 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service for Glenn Logan will be held from 1:00pm-4:00pm Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Kingscreek Community Church.

Clarence Edward Yeary Jr., age 46, of Jenkins, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in La Grange, Kentucky.
He is survived by his parents: Clarence Sr. and Kathy Polly Yeary of Jenkins; his fiance: Ollie Caldwell; 1 daughter: Leah Marie Yeary of Jenkins; 1 sister: Tina Lois Ann Yeary of Barbourville, Kentucky; 2 grandchildren: Nathan Benjamin Yeary and Kaden Yeary and maternal grandfather: Billy Polly.
Funeral Services for Clarence Edward Yeary Jr. will be held at 12:00 noon today, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Yeary Family Cemetery at Mayking.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Letcher Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.

Rosemary Ruth Halcomb Osborne, age 55, of Lynch passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at her residence.
She is survived by her husband: Stewart Osborne; four children: Wendy Osborne, Heather Osborne, James Brandon Osborne, and Brittany Osborne; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson on the way; three sisters: Geri Rae Ison, Denise Sexton, and April Dinsmore and one brother, David Gilliam.
Visitation will be after 1:00pm this afternoon, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Tri City Funeral Home at Benham.
Funeral services for Rosemary Ruth Halcomb Osborne will follow at 3:00pm this afternoon at the Tri City Funeral Home with Ted Collins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery.
Donations can be made directly to the funeral home to help offset funeral costs.

She is survived by her mother: Barbara Burke; her husband: Tiny Wright; one son: Donald Wright II; one brother: Condred Burke Jr and one sister, Vickie Eddington.
Funeral services for Melinda Wright will be held at 1:00pm on Friday at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home at Virgie with Daryl Newsom, Mike Newsom, Joey Justice, Chris Newsom, and Billy Joe Estep officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Wright Cemetery at Dorton.
