Mother and Husband Officially Charged in Death of Breathitt County Child Jayden Spicer

New charges have been filed in the death of a Breathitt County boy who was the subject
of a weeklong search until investigators determined his mother was allegedly involved in
his death.

On Monday Commonwealth’s Attorney Miranda King announced new charges in the death of Jayden Spicer.

His mother Felicia Gross has been indicted by a grand jury for Murder, Falsely Reporting an Incident Which Generates an Emergency Response, Tampering with Evidence, Abuse of a Corpse and Tampering with a Witness.

Her husband Joshua Gross has been indicted for Complicity to Murder as well as the
same charges for False Reporting, Corpse Abuse and Tampering. Both are being held
on $1,000,000 bond.

Meanwhile Jayden will be laid to rest this Thursday.
