Repairs continue on the City of Whitesburg’s pool. Work started in June to fix and upgrade the pool which has been out of commission for several years, but the Mountain Eagle reports a problem with the permit put the work on hold as the City was told they needed to replace some parts they were hoping to reuse.
Officials say the required parts and their materials and labor could add another $200,000 to the cost.
