Week one of the 2025 KHSAA high school football season is in the books with games being played both Friday and Saturday.
The Letcher County Central Cougars took on Johnson Central Saturday at Shelby Valley in the Blue & White Bowl.
Johnson Central beat the Cougar 48-6.
In game two of the Blue & White Bowl, Ironton OH shutout Shelby Valley 63-0.
The LCC Cougars will play their home opener at Cougar Field this Friday night when they take on the Leslie County Eagles.
Kickoff will be at 7:30pm.
The Cougar Countdown Pregame Show will begin at 7:00pm this Friday with Michael Watts and Greg “Bull” Creech.
