A Knott County man has died from injuries related to a car accident last Monday.
Kentucky State Police say Edward Goins of Sassafras died Wednesday in the hospital
where was flown after the September 8 crash on KY-15 in Hazard in which his vehicle
collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Roger Combs of Hazard.
Combs was also hospitalized. KSP says both drivers were wearing seat belts and toxicology reports are pending while the investigation continues into what exactly caused the wreck.
