There is still time to apply if you are interested in an open seat on the Letcher County
Board of Education.
Applications must be submitted by this Friday September 19.
Whoever is appointed will have the seat until the November 2026 regular election.
You must be at least 24 years old and a Kentucky citizen for the last three years and be a
registered voter in Division 5, which covers the voting precincts of Blackey, Hallie,
Dalna, Sugar Grove, Kingscreek/Roxanna, and Doty.
