Bobby “Cowboy” Griffie
Bobby “Cowboy” Griffie, age 89, of Cornettsville, passed Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
He is survived by One Daughter: Anita Watts of Cornettsville; Two Sons: Bobby Scott Griffie of London & Kevin Griffie of Cornettsville; Two Sisters: Claudette Watts of Knott County & Rena Vae Malone of Nicholasville; One Brother: Kenneth Griffie of Lexington; Six Grandchildren: Wesley, Christopher, Megan, Lexi, Jade & Bridgett and Six Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services for Bobby “Cowboy” Griffie will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow in the Griffie Cemetery at Cornettsville.

Shelby Jean Collins, age 78, of Millstone, passed away Sunday September 21, 2025, at her residence.
She is survived by her husband: Jerry Collins and one daughter: Jenny Lynn Collins of Millstone.
Visitation will begin after 1:00pm Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel.
Memorial services for Shelby Jean Collins will follow at 3:00pm Thursday, at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Jonathan Jessy officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
