Downtown Hazard celebrated a new community landmark Friday — the nearly finished Edelen Renewables Pavilion at The Grand.
The stage will host concerts and events for years to come, thanks to a $25,000 donation from Edelen Renewables CEO Adam Edelen, who was also named an honorary “Duke of Hazard.”
The first performance featured “My Old Kentucky Home.”
The space will next be used October 16th for the “Thursdays on the Grand” community event.
