A Belfry man has been charged with alleged drug trafficking following a traffic stop.
Kentucky State Police say when a trooper came across a car stopped in the road, he
spoke to the driver William Salyers and when he went to check something and came
back, the driver and passenger had switched seats and “looked nervous.”
A search allegedly turned up meth, more than $200 in cash and a scale with alleged drug
residue.
Salyers was charged with first-degree trafficking and taken to the Pike County Detention Center.
