Another utility is reportedly looking to raise rates.
As we’ve been reporting, Kentucky Power is asking the Public Service Commission to raise residential and industrial electric customer rates by nearly 15 percent next year.
But now natural gas provider Kentucky Frontier is reportedly seeking to raise residential customer rates by 33 percent which would raise the average residential bill about $10 a month.
The PSC has scheduled a hearing to consider the request in January.
