Nuclear energy company Fromatome is holding job interviews this week in Hazard.
Shaping Our Appalachian Region – known as SOAR – says Framatome is looking to fill
long-term, high-paying jobs including as field service representative, manufacturing
technician and NDE technician.
They say while no degree or prior nuclear experience is required, they are ideal for those who can do electrical work, welding, industrial maintenance or advanced manufacturing.
The Hazard Herald reports the hiring event runs from today through Thursday at Hazard Community and Technical College.
