Clay County Man Arrested for Threatening Police in Hazard

A Clay County man is facing charges for allegedly threatening Hazard Police officers.

Officers responded Thursday to Morton Boulevard on reports of a man walking in the
middle of the roadway and yelling at people.

The man, now identified as Kevin Combs of Manchester, allegedly told an officer he would shoot him in the head and then flashed what appeared to be a gun under his sweatshirt.

That turned out to not be a gun, and officers were about to get him into custody.

He has been charged with assault, resisting arrest, terroristic threatening, wanton endangerment, public intoxication and more.
