A man from Beaver has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a
woman in Floyd County Friday.
Kentucky State Police were called after Sarah Slone of Beaver was found dead along Route 979.
They say following an investigation they arrested Joshua Gayheart for murder as well as evidence tampering.
KSP has not released any details about what led to the shooting or how the two knew each other.
