A Floyd County grand jury will hear a case in which a man is suspected of murdering a woman.
Joshua Gayheart was arrested in relation to the death of Sarah Slone who was found unresponsive at a home on Kentucky 979 in the Beaver Community on November 21.
Gayheart was arraigned this week and his case was sent to the grand jury.
KSP’s initial investigation indicated Slone was shot to death.
Investigators have not yet said how the two knew each other or specified what led up to the shooting.
