A woman and child are recovering from a Tuesday evening crash on KY-80 in Hindman that involved a Kentucky State Police patrol car.
KSP says their preliminary investigation indicates the police cruiser was being driven by Anthony Bersaglia who was taking it from KSP Post 13 to his garage for maintenance.
The cruiser was heading eastbound when the front bumper apparently hit the rear bumper of a car that was also going traveling eastbound.
The car’s driver, Debroah Wallen, and her juvenile passenger were taken to Hazard ARH for possible minor injuries.
Bersaglia was not hurt.
