A portion of KY 1811 – which is Smoot Creek Road – will be closed during the daytime this week – weather permitting – for some much-needed road repairs.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the affected area connects Smoot Creek and Tillie, and is located at mile point 2.6, on the hill about a tenth of a mile from the KY 1148
intersection.
KYTC says because the work area is so narrow it will be closed to all traffic during the work times which are today, tomorrow and Friday from 8am to 5pm.
They say you will have to take a detour – such as KY-15 between Van and Isom.
