A Whitesburg man is facing charges for allegedly threatening to kill a local doctor.
Richard Devin Wyatt is charged with terroristic threatening for allegedly threatening to kill or seriously injure Dr. Shane McDougal of Whitesburg ARH in a series of threats police say happened in November and this month.
Wyatt is also charged with strangulation for an alleged assault on his girlfriend.
The Mountain Eagle reports several police officers gathered to take him to custody last week.
