The man accused of murdering Amber Spradlin of Prestonsburg in 2023 is now out on bond.
WYMT reports court records show on Thursday M.K. McKinney was able to post the required elements of a new bond arrangement that the judge in the case approved last week.
McKinney’s bond is still $5 million but the judge ruled it could be secured with a $1 million property bond on top of $450,000 cash.
He will be required to remain under home incarceration with GPS monitoring.
And he cannot live with his father, Dr. Michael McKinney, who is also facing charges for tampering with evidence.
Michael McKinney is also out on bond on home incarceration with some limited travel for work.
