Kick off the New Year with a guided New Year’s Day hike along the Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail at Kingdom Come State Park.
In a partnership with the Kentucky Natural Lands Trust, they are hosting what they call a moderate 2-mile hike that will take you along the ridge of Pine Mountain, where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of the Cumberland Plateau.
It’s on Thursday, January 1 from 10am-Noon and if time allows their Naturalist is offering an additional hike within the park afterwards.
This is a free event but you must register with a link you can find on the Kingdom Come State Park social media.
