A Pike County man indicted for manslaughter for a shooting death in April has asked for his bond to be reduced.
Paul David Coleman was in court late last week to ask for his $250,000 full cash bond to be lowered.
Coleman was indicted by a Pike County Grand Jury last month for the shooting death of Greely Brandon Hurley of Stopover.
He has been in the Pike County Detention Center since he turned himself in on November 24.
His attorney argued that since he had voluntarily surrendered after his indictment that shows he is not a flight risk.
The Commonwealth’s Attorney argued that he is a danger to the family of the victim.
The judge did not say when he would decide.
