If you are worried about the cost of the heating bills for these last couple of snowy months, Kentucky Power has gotten permission from the Public Service Commission to spread out some of the costs over a few months instead of all at once.
Officials say the fluctuating energy markets have costs going up significantly and it would all hit next month.
Instead, Kentucky Power will spread the increases out equally across the months with lower demand in April, May, June and July.
