Cats Fall to Florida, Head to SEC Tournament as No. 9 Seed

Otega Oweh scored 28 points but Kentucky could not overcome a slow start on Senior Day and the Cats lost to No. 5 Florida 84-77 on Saturday at Rupp Arena.

Kentucky finishes the regular season at 19-12 overall and 10-8 in the SEC.

The Cats are the #9 seed in this week’s SEC Tournament in Nashville and will be playing on Wednesday for the first time in tournament history.  

Kentucky will face #16 seed LSU in the first game of the tournament Wednesday at 12:30pm.
