The Letcher County Central Cougars baseball team is 2-1 in the early season.
The Cougar boys lost 5-2 to Harlan County in the season opener on Friday before bouncing back with 2 wins over Jenkins in a doubleheader on Saturday.
LCC baseball will play at Hazard tonight at 6:00pm and at Wolfe County on Tuesday at 6:00pm.
Jenkins Cavaliers baseball is 1-3 now with a 12-4 Friday win at Buckhorn, before losing two games to LCC in the Saturday doubleheader.
Jenkins baseball will next play Pineville at home Tuesday night at 6:00pm.
