A child is facing charges after making a threat against Pikeville High School.
Kentucky State Police say the juvenile was taken into custody overnight following the discovery of the threat.
Pikeville Independent Schools are operating per usual today, but with an increased police presence.
Due to the juvenile’s age, no further details on their identity or the threat will be released.
