Nick Martinez dominated his former team for eight innings, helping the Tampa Bay Rays avoid a series sweep with a 6-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday.
The Rays win snapped the Reds 5 game winning streak but the Reds still won the series and went 5-1 on the road trip.
The Reds, are now 16-9 overall and will be odd today, Thursday.
They will kick off a 6 game home stand Friday night at GABP with a 3 game weekend series against the Detroit Tigers.
