Some Letcher County leaders want the Kentucky Public Service Commission to put Kentucky Power under a little more scrutiny.
At their April meeting the Letcher County Fiscal Court formally adopted a resolution supporting a management and operations audit of Kentucky Power that was ordered by the PSC last month as part of an agreement to a rate hike.
The Mountain Eagle reports the Letcher County resolution also asks PSC to hold off on that rate until the audit is done and make it fully public.
