In softball the Letcher County Central Lady Cougars hung on for another close win, 7-6 at Harlan Independent on Friday evening.
That’s 12 consecutive wins for the 17-6 Lady Cougars.
They will play at 11-13 Johnson Central this evening at 6:00pm then play a district doubleheader at home against Cordia on Tuesday with the first game at 6:00pm.
The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers softball picked up forfeit wins in a doubleheader against Twin Valley VA on Friday.
The 14-6 Lady Cavaliers will take on East Ridge at home tonight at 6:00pm and then play at Harlan Independent on Tuesday.
