Gabriel Moreno’s go-ahead solo home run in the eighth inning lifted the Arizona Diamondbacks over the Cincinnati Reds 5-3 on Sunday to give manager Torey Lovullo his 700th win.
The D-Backs took two of three this weekend over the Reds at GABP.
The Reds are now 33-37 and still in last place, 10.5 games back of the Brewers in the NL Central.
They are 2-8 in their last 10 games.
The Reds will continue the home stand tonight at Great American Ball Park as they begin a 3 game series with the New York Mets.
Game times for the Reds and Mets will be 7:10 tonight and Tuesday night and 12:40pm Wednesday afternoon.
