The City of Evarts says they plan to take more water samples today to do some testing to possibly lift a boil advisory by tomorrow. The City issued a system wide boil water advisory last Tuesday due to intake issues they said led to turbidity in the water. The City said last night on their Facebook Page it takes 18 hours to run the test after they deliver water to the lab so the earliest the boil advisory could be lifted is Tuesday morning. They ask that you visit the City’s Facebook page for updates and if you have questions you can call the Evarts Water Plant or City Hall. They also urge you to call any state offices, saying “the more attention that is kept on the matter, the better.”
