Kentucky basketball freshman guard D.J. Wagner was named the SEC Freshman of the Week Monday afternoon.
Last week Wagner had 25 points against Saint Joseph’s in the overtime win and 28 points in the big win over Marshall last week.
On the season, Wagner is averaging 14.5 points, 3.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
