Barbara Jean Garrett Holland, age 87, of Neon, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Whitesburg ARH.
She is survived by 1 son: Brett Holland of Neon; 2 grandsons: Nick Holland of Neon and Cody Holland of Neon; 2 brothers: Jeff Garrett of Bristol, TN and Jack Garrett of Bristol, TN along with good friends: Janice Banks, Sharon Little, Rita Jones, Wendell and Dorcas Austin and Billy and Delores “P-Jib” Johnson.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Haymond Freewill Baptist Church at Haymond.
There will be a service this evening at 7:00pm.
Funeral services for Barbara Jean Garrett Holland will be held at 1:00 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Haymond Freewill Baptist Church at Haymond with Danny Mullins, Wendell Austin and Jimmy Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery at Fleming.

Douglas Edward Hall, age 71, of Jenkins, passed away Friday December 15, 2023 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife: Evyonne Hall of Jenkins; a daughter: Selina Francis of Smyrna DE; 4 grandchildren with a great-grandchild on the way along with special friends and caregivers, Rick Richardson of Jenkins and Drew Toothman of Jenkins.
Funeral services for Douglas Edward Hall will be held at 7:00pm this evening, Monday, December 18, 2023 in the Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Quillen officiating.
Visitation will help after 5:00pm this evening until the time of services at 7:00pm.

Maryland Michael “Tater” Slone, age 49 of Littcarr, passed away on Friday December 15, 2023, at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
He is survived by his Son- Dakota Michael Slone; Daughter- Susan Nicole Caudill; Brothers- Hubert “Boone” Slone, Kenneth Slone and Robert Slone; Sisters- Josephine Slone, Patty Slone, April Sandlin and Peggy Slone and 2 Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00-10-00pm this evening, Monday December 18, 2023 with services tonight at 7:00pm at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman.
Funeral services for Maryland Michael “Tater” Slone will be at 12 Noon on tomorrow, Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral in Hindman with Todd Amburgey Officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ed Slone Family Cemetery at Elmrock.
