Rulah Adams, age 87, of Whitesburg passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife: Nancy Adams; 3 Sons: Rulah Adams of Isom; Donnie Adams of Isom and Ross Middaugh of Georgetown; 2 Daughters: Dwana Whitaker of Colson and Lynn Middaugh of Whitesburg; 2 Sisters: Reva Lepisto of Michigan and Janice O’Brian of Belfry; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services for Rulah Adams will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft and Bill Jones officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm tomorrow, Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Isom Cemetery.

Jean Ann Bentley
Jean Ann Bentley, age 76 of Payne Gap, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Charissa Amburgey of Isom, Melissa Cook of Thornton and Yvette Whitaker of Payne Gap; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services or Jean Ann Bentley will be held at 1:00pm tomorrow, Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Polly officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Monday, January 1, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Burdine.

Hazel Marie Ison
Hazel Ison, age 79, of Whitco, passed away on Saturday December 30, 2023 at her residence.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Tonda Adams of Whitco, Jennifer Absher of Whitco and Kelli Jo Ison of Louisville; 1 son: Michael Ison of Ermine; 2 brothers: David Thomas of Leslie County and Harold Thomas of Van; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Hazel Marie Ison will be held at 11:00am this morning, Monday, January 1, 2024 at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel with John Conn officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

Avon Pratt
Avon Pratt, age 88, of Cornettsville, passed away on Saturday December 30, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
He is survived by two sons, Richard Avon Pratt of Viper and Jeffrey Wayne Pratt of Viper; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00pm, Tuesday January 2, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard.
Funeral Services for Avon Pratt will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday January 3, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard with Danny Dixon, Scotty Halcomb, and Jim Fields officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Jeff.
Military Rites will be conducted by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bluegrass Care Navigators or East Kentucky Veterans Center.
