Trying to speed away from police on icy roads in Jenkins has led to the arrest of two Ohio men. Jenkins Police say Thursday morning an officer saw a pickup run a stop sign and speed off onto U.S. 23 and U.S. 119. The officer reportedly followed and saw the driver lose control on Kona Hill. The two men leapt from the truck and tried to run but didn’t get far in the snow. A search of the truck allegedly turned up a large amount of marijuana. Both men face a long list of charges including making threats to the officers.
