A system-wide Boil Water Advisory has been issued for all City of Hazard water customers. Hazard has been under a State of Emergency with several water tanks depleted in the wake of freezing temperatures that froze river and creek water sources and led to broken pipes and leaks in service lines and main lines, leaving city tanks depleted. They say tanks have been continuing to make gains and once the Hazard tanks are stabilized then Hazard crews will help Buckhorn fix leaks and fill tanks.
