Pikeville Man Reaches Plea Deal in Federal Drug Case

A Pikeville man is reportedly set to plead guilty to federal drug charges. Joshua Habern is charged with several counts related to distributing meth and fentanyl in Pike and Floyd counties as well as some weapons charges. Mountain Top News reports he was set to go to trial starting February 5 but has reached a plea deal. There is no word yet on the terms of that deal but had he gone to trial and been found guilty on all counts he was likely looking at life in prison. He is scheduled to be re-arraigned next week.
