The Cowan Community Center’s annual Dr Martin Luther King Jr Community Breakfast is this Saturday, February 3. It had to be rescheduled from its original date because of the weather, but the event called No Hate in My Holler is now set for this Saturday at 930am at Cowan Community Center. CANE Kitchen is providing breakfast and there will be screen printed shirts by Art by Lacy Hale and art-making with the City of Whitesburg / Letcher County Farmers’ Market Jr. Vendors, Abby’s Accessories, and Katie Combs. Supporters include Corinth Baptist Church, Appalshop, Letcher County Culture Hub, Center for Rural Strategies, and Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College
